Writer Kym Pokorny of the Oregonian have published a new article highlighting the growing percentage of Northwesterners who are turning to SYNLawn artificial grass. Citing how the natural course of grass in the region is opposite when compared to growth in other regions of the country, green grass in the winter, and brown in the summer.

Most Portland area residents are familiar with the high end shopping and dining district off I-5 in Tualatin known as Bridgeport Village. The beautiful shops, chic restaurants and stone paved walkways create a lovely ambience for shoppers and diners alike, not to mention the movie-goers at one of the newest theaters in town. Starting Friday June 13th and running through June 22nd, Bridgeport Village will also be home to the "Idea Box", an indoor and outdoor presentation created by Design Within Reach and Sycamore Canyon.

SYNLawn Oregon is working with Fireplace Central & Outdoor Living Center, a local provider of high quality outdoor furniture and accessories, to both beautify their area, provide a putting green for their patrons, and offer a location for Central Oregon consumers to view samples of the wide variety of synthetic turf products available on the market. Displays should be completed by the first week of May 2008).

It was a SYNLawn Christmas

In summer of 2007 a local family in Lake Oswego decided to take the step and install SYNLawn at their home. With 2 kids and 2 yellow labs using the space, they have been thrilled with the results, and the lack of mud in their home. So thrilled in fact, that Scott Imbach, the SYNLawn representative who worked with them on the project, received their annual Christmas card, picturing their whole family sitting on their beautiful green lawn. It was picture perfect, and we were happy to be able to contribute to their Happy Holidays.

SYNLawn of Oregon adds new turf dealer in Southern Oregon.

SYNLawn of Oregon has partnered with Leave Your Mark, a reputable distributor of landscape stone and brick materials located in Phoenix Oregon. The owner of Leave Your Mark, Pete Cislo, is a deep believer in the synthetic lawn products and has previous experience working with it. He wanted to be on board with the best, and contacted the Portland area SYNLawn distribution and design center in Fall of 2007.

SYNLawn of Oregon to Sponsor Golf Show

SYNLawn of Oregon will be one of the leading sponsors at the 2008 Portland Golf show, being held at the Convention Center in Portland from February 8th-10th. The 20x40 foot space utilized by SYNLawn, will primarily be a large putting green, where professional golfers will provide examples and train attendee on proper technique.
